Clinic Director Position Summary The Clinic Manager oversees daily operations for West End Clinic, Downtown Clinic, and Urgent Care, supervising staff, coordinating schedules and workflows, and ensuring efficient patient flow and a high-quality patient experience. Working closely with providers and the Clinic Director, this role monitors clinic performance indicators, supports data-informed operations, and ensures all clinic activities align with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives while promoting safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare experience
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or related field preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Experience in clinic or ambulatory healthcare operations preferred
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery
Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for clinic operations
Monitor clinic workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency
Collaborate with providers and staff to address operational challenges
Ensure clinic operations align with organizational policies and procedures
Supervise clinic staff including nursing, clinical support staff, and front office personnel
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities
Address staff concerns and performance issues in collaboration with the Clinic Director Foster a positive team environment and promote a culture of accountability and patient-centered care Monitor appointment scheduling to ensure timely patient access to care Ensure follow-up appointments are scheduled prior to patient departure
Address patient concerns and assist with resolution of service issues
Monitor patient satisfaction feedback and work with staff to improve the patient experience
Oversee referral coordination processes to ensure timely completion of referrals and prior authorizations and monitor referral turnaround times and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure ordered services are scheduled appropriately
Support efforts to retain patient services within the organization when appropriate
Monitor clinic operational indicators including visit volumes, scheduling utilization, and workflow efficiency
Assist the Clinic Director in identifying opportunities to improve clinic operations and performance
Participate in meetings related to clinic performance, staff communication, and operational improvements
Maintain compliance with privacy and security standards including HIPAA regulations
Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory reporting requirements as directed by the Clinic Director
Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking throughout clinical areas for extended periods.
Ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, transferring, or supporting patients, with or without assistance or lifting devices.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling while assisting patients or performing clinical tasks.
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills required to operate medical equipment, perform procedures, and document care.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to visually assess patient conditions, read medical charts, and operate clinical technology.
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
Potential Hazards Exposure to hospital-related hazards including blood-borne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious diseases, x-ray/electromagnetic energy, electric shock, and chemicals. Employees must adhere to all hospital safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
