Responsibilities:

The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for assisting the therapy team with a variety of daily tasks, such as preparing and bringing residents to/from the gymnasium area for treatment sessions, ensuring the therapy equipment and spaces are organized/sanitized, and inputting relevant documentation records into software.

Assists therapists with bringing the residents to/from gym for sessions in a safe manner

Perform workplace duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and faxing

General organization and cleaning of therapy room equipment

Communicates in a clear, respectful, and caring manner with patients, their families, and caregivers

Qualifications

Prior experience with patient care in a nursing home or hospital is preferred

Computer literate, experience with data-entry is a plus Organization skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Valid driver’s license and an automobile in good working condition with appropriate insurance coverage in accordance with state laws Respectful, open communication with other team members, clients, and families
