come grow with us! The oklahoma forensic center (ofc) located in vinita, ok is a 24 hour/ 365 day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the state of oklahoma.

currently, ofc has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as not guilty by reason of insanity.

about the position:

here at the oklahoma forensic center the social work department is hiring for a behavioral health case manager who would, under immediate to general supervision assist in the provision of telehealth and in person contact, screening and referral. May also work to establish and maintain a treatment focused milieu for consumers and family members receiving treatment services.

payrate: level ii- $22.95/hr, level i- $21.63

primary working hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm

minimum qualifications and experience:
  • level ii- education and experience requirements at this level consist of a minimum of 36 (thirty-six) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a high school diploma, general equivalency diploma (ged), or high school equivalency (hse) credential; or
  • the completion of 60 (sixty) college credit hours and a minimum of 12 (twelve) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder; or
  • a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the united states department of education (usde) and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder; or
  • a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a behavioral health related field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the united states department of education (usde); or
  • have a current license as a registered nurse in the state of oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care.

level i- education and experience requirements at this level consists of a high school diploma, general equivalency diploma (ged), or high school equivalency (hse) credential and six (6) months of behavioral health experience.

special requirements:

applicant must be able to pass an osbi background check.

applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
