Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. All travelers must have one manager/supervisor reference from the most recent/current assignment. DON references NOT accepted. The facility will call any references directly to verify.

Required Skills/

Experience:

2 years of experience with travel experience required, or 4 years of experience with travel experience preferred.

Required Credentials:
No hits on license or background accepted, regardless of how long ago.

Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit Details: 60-70 treatments per day. Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Covers inpatient, PCU, ICU, ER, L&D, and nursery. Adult therapy, EKGs, aerosol treatments, and vent/BiPAP management. Assists with adult intubations. Supervisor on every shift; supervisor may take patient assignments. Uses 980 Nihon Kohden vents and V60/Nihon Kohden BiPAPs. Residents plus Family Medicine and Internal Medicine teams are in house.

Shift & Scheduling:
Manager makes the schedule. No set schedules. Not every weekend, but probably more like every other weekend. Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements:
Float throughout the whole hospital; must be proficient in ICU and ER.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
