Our client is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include serving the senior population in a Medicare Advantage Value Based Model, building relationships with patients, and providing comprehensive care and support alongside doctors.

• Conduct patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient interviews, and medical histories.
• Perform examinations, routine screenings, and phlebotomy.
• Critically engage with patients and report findings to the primary care provider (PCP).
• Process patient phone messages, return calls, and relay information.
• Provide health coaching and education to patients.
• Conduct diabetic retinopathy screenings and help with administrative work.
• Perform and close FOCS (Focus on Care Gaps).
• Perform screenings including PHQ-9 depression screenings.

• MA Diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of MA experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with diverse populations including staff, patients, and family members.

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months of experience in phlebotomy is highly desired.

• Experience with EClinical
  
  Works or similar EMR systems.
• Proficient in phlebotomy and health screenings.
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Must be comfortable adapting to updated training and operational changes.
• Initial and ongoing flexibility in day-to-day task management.
• Punctuality is necessary; daily meetings start at 8:00 am.
