Night Audit Building Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Secure the building- open and close external doors, provide appropriate access to rooms, manage key inventory
• Provide excellent customer service with the help of front desk staff and other night employees
• Greet each event coordinator prior to the event starting time. Explain how to contact for assistance and check in with the customer to ensure all arrangement are set correctly
• Help to deescalate unruly guests during events, sporting events, or during high occupancy nights
• Provide leadership and direction in emergencies and assist as needed
• Enforce University and MSU Policies and Standards
• Recognize and report safety and security problems to MSUPD
• Provide support to Front desk, Housekeeping and Engineering department on an as needed basis during the overnight shift
• Document night shift for management review

This position is NOT for MSU degree granting student.

• Available for night shift on Friday and Saturday 11pm-7am
• Available 16 hours per week
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Display a high standard of ethical conduct
• Ability to stand and or walk for an entire shift
• Pass an employment Criminal Background Check

• Knowledge of building operations and hospitality business procedures.
