SUMMARY The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning Guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling Guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all Guest rooms. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization's policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP's, and any other related training.

Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work area.

Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and hotel regulations.

Clean Guest rooms by category priority and by assignment.

Transport cart with cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens to assigned Guest room and position securely.

Empty all trash and ash tray containers in assigned areas of the hotel.

Remove all dirty linen from the Guest rooms and replenishes Guest room par level.

Clean all guest room bathrooms and remove and replenish all bathroom amenities, e.g. facial, bath soap, & shampoo in accordance with Kiowa Hospitality standards.

Remove dirty bed linen and make up the bed with clean bed linen.

Inspect the condition of bathrobes and replace as needed.

Clean closets and verify the correct number and placement of hangars in room.

Dust and polish all furniture in guest room.

Replenish in room amenities according to hotel standards.

Deliver and retrieve items on loan to Guest rooms, e.g. rollaway bed, iron, iron board.

Replenish complimentary water in Guest rooms.

Vacuum guest room and floor corridor carpets.

Perform rotation cleaning duties, e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, and super Cleaning etc., as required.

Attend to Guest calls, Guest request/Guest complaints in the area assigned.

Authorized to enter guest rooms for cleaning and providing turn down service per request.

Maintain knowledge of special events, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.

Must adhere to safety rules and regulations and applicable processes for safe operations.

Perform additional duties or projects, as assigned.

Ability to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the offices and between buildings or properties for the duration of work hours. Frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, including lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, or boxes, up to 50 pounds.
