Summary:
Responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through the effective management of both the hotel housekeeping and front desk departments. This position oversees daily operations, provides staff supervision, and implements service standards to maintain a welcoming, clean, and efficient hotel environment. The supervisor ensures that all guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards through close collaboration with hotel housekeeping staff, while also managing front desk personnel to ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of hotel housekeeping staff and front desk agents.
- Ensure all guest rooms, lobbies, and common areas meet hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Train, mentor, and schedule hotel housekeeping attendants and front desk personnel.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest service materials.
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, handling escalated guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to resolve operational issues quickly.
- Maintain clear communication between departments to optimize service delivery.
- Report performance, incidents, and improvement areas to hotel management.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Communicates daily pre shift information to line level employees within assigned sections to ensure the department runs smoothly.

EDUCATION
HS Diploma; and/or combination of education & experience.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within hotel operations. Demonstrated experience in both hotel housekeeping services and front desk/customer service operations. Familiarity with hotel property management systems, reservation platforms, and housekeeping scheduling tools. Proven ability to train, schedule, and evaluate team members. Experience conducting inspections, audits, or quality checks in line with brand or property standards.
