We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Architect with deep expertise in Marketing Technology (Mar Tech), who can also lead cross-functional e-commerce programs spanning frontend, backend, and integration layers. This role is critical in designing scalable, future-ready digital ecosystems for our clients while guiding teams towards innovation and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement enterprise-grade e-commerce architectures across web, mobile, POS, and omni-channel platforms.
- Design and optimize Mar Tech ecosystems (CDPs, personalization, loyalty, CRM, analytics, campaign management).
- Lead cross-functional solution delivery spanning frontend (React, Vue, Angular, Shopify Hydrogen), backend (APIs, OMS, ERP), and cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with client stakeholders across marketing, product, engineering, and data to ensure solutions align with business strategy.
- Guide modernization initiatives such as headless commerce, composable architecture, and cloud-native adoption.
- Mentor teams and instill best practices for architecture, scalability, and innovation.
- Architect and integrate client Mar Tech stacks (Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Segment, Bloomreach).
- Enable personalized, data-driven customer journeys with advanced segmentation and multi-channel orchestration.
- Design seamless data flows between CMS, CDP, analytics, and commerce engines for real-time insights and campaigns.
- Work closely with marketing leaders to drive ROI from customer acquisition, retention, and growth strategies.
- 10+ years in e-commerce and digital solution architecture, including 5+ years specializing in Mar Tech platforms.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in consulting or client-facing roles.
- Experience with enterprise commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, commerce tools).
- Hands-on knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and backend services (headless, microservices, APIs).
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Dev Ops, CI/CD, and compliance (SOC2, GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent leadership, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience consulting in Retail, CPG, or D2C commerce transformations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML personalization frameworks and conversational commerce solutions.
- Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP, Adobe/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or enterprise architecture frameworks.
