Carl Zeiss Vision Care is in the midst of a global IT transformation, during which both the end-to-end processes and the global IT systems are being standardized and modernized. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the project management of a global transformation project.
Your RoleWith us, you have the opportunity to optimally combine your studies with practical experience and actively participate in exciting projects. This way, you gain valuable experience, build your network, and develop yourself both professionally and personally.
- Establishing frameworks, guidelines, and procedures for project management to ensure that projects align with company goals
- Defining standardized project management templates, tools, and techniques to promote consistency and efficiency in all projects
- Supporting project managers in documenting end-to-end processes, the IT landscape, and business requirements
- Managing the project plan, as well as identifying and managing stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Creating project status reports, dashboards, and other materials to inform stakeholders about project progress, issues, and milestones
- Establishing quality standards and processes to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and organizational requirements
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and project teams, to gain buy-in, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
We are looking for you starting from 01.09.2026 or the winter semester 2026/27:
- Current studies with a focus on (business) informatics, computer science, business administration, or equivalent
- First practical experience through part-time student jobs or internships is desirable
- Strong organizational skills and good time management
- Preferably first experiences with business process modeling tools (e.g., Signavio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- High willingness to learn and the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
