Description:
You want to help accelerate the energy transition in practice – where regulation, business processes, and IT intersect? Then bring your domain knowledge and your design ambition to CGI and accompany energy suppliers and grid operators as they align their organizations and system landscapes for the future. As a Business Analyst Energy Sector (m/w/d) you work in demanding transformation and digitalization programs: from the clarification of topics over target images and concepts to the implementation in product and project teams.
You move in the center of the stakeholders – departments, IT, architecture, program management – and ensure that complex requirements become clear decisions and implementable backlogs. You are part of our consulting team in the energy sector. You can expect an environment with real professional exchange, short paths and the opportunity to take responsibility – both in the project and in the expansion of our service portfolio.
Future
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You make complexity manageable and bring technical requirements to the point so that teams can deliver quickly, safely, and effectively.
- You analyze and structure technical requirements in energy economic contexts (e.g. grid/distribution, market communication, regulation) and derive clear technical concepts from them.
- You moderate workshops and coordination meetings, lead stakeholders to sound decisions and document results comprehensibly.
- You translate business needs into implementable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria – and ensure a prioritized, "deliverable" backlog.
- You work at the interface between departments and IT and ensure that technical objectives, processes, data flows, and system interfaces fit together consistently.
- You work closely with enterprise architects and program managers and accompany the technical design of solution approaches up to implementation.
- You bring structure into complex project/product constellations (e.g. multi-vendor, several sub-programs, regulatory deadlines) and keep an eye on dependencies, risks, and decision needs.
- You have extensive professional experience in the energy sector (energy suppliers/grid operators/energy sector service providers) and a solid domain understanding.
- You have a confident understanding of energy economic business processes and the ability to independently holistically classify technical issues.
- You have extensive experience working with IT teams as well as a good understanding of IT landscapes, systems, and interfaces (without necessarily implementing them yourself).
- You also have proven strength in requirement analysis, structuring, and accompanying up to implementation (e.g. via backlogs, specifications, acceptance criteria).
- You have experience in supporting new customer acquisition and new projects (pre-sales), e.g. technical contribution in offers/SOWs, effort estimates, pitch/workshop materials, and elaboration of use cases.
- You have a confident demeanor and very good moderation and communication skills in demanding stakeholder environments.
- Lastly, you have very good German language skills as well as good English language skills in speech and writing.
- You will find colleagues with whom working is fun. We meet openly, use first names across all positions, and do not think in hierarchies or silos.
- You usually work directly at your home location – because we take customer proximity literally and care about work-life balance.
- You benefit from flexible working hours and have the possibility to work from home depending on the customer situation.
- The right training and certificates advance your further education. Our e-learning platform Academia allows you to learn where and when you want.
- A part of your gross salary can be invested in CGI shares – up to a maximum of 3% of the monthly salary we give…
