Network and Systems Administrator vacancy in Us Norway
Our IT department is seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and support of our network and systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, systems administration, and IT support.
Responsibilities:- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Install and configure new hardware and software components
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and file sharing
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Conduct regular system maintenance tasks such as patching and updates
- Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network related issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex problems
- Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network administration or systems administration role
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with firewalls, routers, switches
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1800 per month. Own visa holders are preferred but not required. We welcome candidates without prior experience who are passionate about pursuing a career in IT.
