DESCRIPTION:

This position leads a team of property claims service professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and business results. The role requires mandatory overtime during a CAT. This position requires to work on-site, within a secure environment that meets strict information-security standards. The office location is in Chandler, AZ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads their team to achieve goals and objectives by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Manage employee work schedules including assignments, training, vacations and paid time off, overtime and ensuring coverage for absenteeism.
  • Contributes to the creation of strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending process improvements.
  • Appropriately communicates information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, IM, and regular interpersonal communication.
  • Develops critical skillsets of their team as well as assisting their team with career development goals.
  • Handles customer escalations, DOI complaints and claims with public adjuster or attorney representation.
  • Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools & technology.
  • Supports workload surges and/or catastrophe operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated catastrophe events.
  • Partners with internal resources to facilitate claims resolution.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be a team-oriented individual to work with clients, other team members, and internal partners.
  • Availability to work after hours and on the weekend as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current TX adjuster license or ability to obtain TX adjuster license.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 years property claims experience to include dwelling estimating.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading Property insurance claim professionals, handling both CAT and Non-Cat claims, in a management capacity.
  • Working knowledge of Xactimate.
  • Working knowledge of Guidewire-based claims management systems.
  • College degree and/or industry designations such as CPCU, AIC, SCLA.
