- Handle lower-level liability and/or physical damage claims under close supervision and support larger or more complex claims as needed.
- Process general liability claims, determine compensability and benefits due; monitor reserve accuracy; file documentation with state agencies.
- Communicate claim actions with claimants, clients, and appropriate medical contacts.
- Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
- May process routine payments and prescriptions for lifetime or defined period medical claims.
- Maintain professional client relationships.
- Education & Licensing:
High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required. Licenses for NY or HI preferred. - Experience:
One (1) year of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Claims industry experience preferred. - Jurisdictions:

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting, the starting pay range is $23.00–$25.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including medical, dental, vision, 401k with matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, FSAs/HSA, and other voluntary benefits.
