Job OverviewThis position provides work direction and technical guidance to measurement direct reports in a large organization focused on fueling the world. The supervisor will oversee maintenance, repair, testing, calibration, installation and inspection of measurement, communication and control equipment to ensure compliance with AGA, API, GPA, FCC, EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate the maintenance, repair, testing, calibration, installation and inspection of measurement, communication and control equipment within the area of responsibility.
- Provide project support and/or management during instrumentation installation in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
- Submit technical improvement, budget and manpower recommendations to manager.
- Assist in preparing and managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the area of responsibility.
- Ensure the asset base is maintained in accordance with all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 8+ years of related measurement and/or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and measurement programs.
- Availability for 24‑hour, seven‑day call‑out and possible extended workdays.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- College or technical trade degree in a related field.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent driving, walking and standing.
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, heavy lifting, various materials, chemicals and extreme temperatures.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
