Operations Manager

Oversee 24/7 plant operations ensuring all quality and regulatory standards are met. Align plant initiatives with safety, quality, productivity, and stewardship objectives. Lead through a culture of high trust, autonomy, and continuous improvement.

- Drive overall plant operations covering finance, manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, HR, and information systems.
- Assist in developing a culture of high trust, clear metrics, leading indicators, ownership and accountability.
- Align objectives within each function to achieve business strategic goals including safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and people development.
- Observe 24/7 daily operations to ensure facility performance meets business objectives in safety, quality, productivity, and people development.
- Coordinate plant activities with the General Manager and departmental managers to achieve manufacturing objectives and accountability.
- Ensure all regulatory compliance standards are met.
- Resolve technical issues and remove roadblocks rapidly.
- Lead a team of 20–30 employees, strategic partners, and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 5 years in operations leadership.
- Experience in change management, process improvement and optimization.
- Ability to build trust and grow self and others.
- Effective communication at all levels – from shop floor to executive leadership.
- Willingness to be accessible 24/7 and on holidays to support the facility.
- High drive and commitment to meet success criteria.
- Willingness to challenge status quo and think outside the box.
- Accountable for self and others.
- Ability to work under uncertain and dynamic conditions while providing stability to the team.
- Roll‑up‑the‑sleeves attitude – willing to take on any task.
- Strong ability to build trust and a strong team environment.
