CBTS has partnered with a client to identify a Sr. Project Manager on a 12 month contract to possible hire opportunity. This role can be FULLY REMOTE if you can work/support EST business hrs.
- This role will require the ability to work on a W2 basis. Please no C2c/3rd party profiles at this time!
- PMP
- Willing and able to work 8-5 ET - be available online during that time
- Willing and able to travel up to once per quarter - depending on project
- Waterfall experience (we do very little agile here)
- Flexible, able to go with the flow but create structure for the team

Notes:
- Work on multiple projects m is half employees and half contractors. Get shuffled around frequently.

- PMs job is not be difficult - Focus is on customer service.
- Impose structure, adhere to process, but not be the "bad cop".
- Manage the project budgeting (determine cost, request funding, track burndown, accruals, etc).
- Will send expectations document - don’t share until an offer is made
- Describe how to build a waterfall project plan (no Agile being done at CBB).

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead and support software development initiatives, primarily focused on software related projects and new product development
. Any work within Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehousing would be a plus. These roles require a servant leadership approach
, strong budgeting/forecasting capabilities, and the ability to maintain structure without acting as a "bad cop." The successful candidates will join a flexible, collaborative, and respectful environment with a strong focus on work-life balance and customer service

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute multiple concurrent software projects using Waterfall methodology
- Lead project budgeting and financial tracking (cost estimation, funding requests, burn rate, accruals)
- Define, maintain, and execute project plans, schedules, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional teams composed of employees and contractors
- Create structure and enforce process while fostering team autonomy and collaboration
- Serve as a positive, communicative, and adaptable leader
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership, escalating as appropriate
- Travel up to once per quarter
, as project needs dictate
Required Qualifications:
- PMP Certification (active)
- Strong experience managing project budgets and forecasts
- Located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone
- Available to work consistently from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
- Willing and able to travel quarterly
- Hands-on experience with Waterfall methodology
- Familiarity with Cap Ex vs Op Ex project budgeting
