This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of cash application processes within a high-volume healthcare revenue cycle environment. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional RCM leaders, payers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline workflows. A strong emphasis is placed on data‑driven decision‑making, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement. This is a remote opportunity to contribute directly to financial performance while supporting care delivery operations that impact patients nationwide.

  • Analyze daily reports, dashboards, and worklists to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with payers and internal RCM teams to resolve payment discrepancies, delays, and revenue cycle issues.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and workflow maps to support standardization and scalability.
  • Build and present KPI reporting to leadership, ensuring visibility into team performance, cash flow efficiency, and operational health.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance revenue cycle performance, reduce cash delays, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support strategic RCM initiatives, cross‑functional projects, and broader organizational transformation efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare cash application operations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue cycle processes within healthcare environments.
  • Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or long‑term care insurance is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and external partners.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop processes, improve workflows, and drive operational efficiency.
Benefits
  • Annual salary range: $85,000 – $90,000
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
