IT Project Manager

General Project Manager
The General Project Manager leads end-to-end governance, structure, and delivery of complex cross-functional projects, e.g. product launches or global product roll-outs. The role ensures alignment and delivery across all work streams (e.g. technical, regulatory, commercial, retail, supply chain, IT, etc.) and external partners. It provides overall accountability for scope, timeline, budget, risk management, and executive transparency. The position acts as the single point of project leadership and escalation.
Lead overall project governance and delivery
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones
- Derive and maintain integrated project plans across all functions
- Monitor progress, budget, and resource allocation
- Drive structured risk and issue management
Ensures cross-functional alignment and collaboration
- Coordinate all relevant functions for a project
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve cross-functional conflicts
- Ensure transparency of interdependencies and critical paths
Manage stakeholders and drive structured reporting
- Act as a primary contact for executive stakeholders regarding project status and provide fast-based decision proposals if needed
- Align deliverables and timelines with external partners.
- Prepare and lead steering meetings, status reports and risk summaries
- Maintain clear documentation of project decisions and changes
Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate product & solution generation process with all relevant documentation and milestone compliance
- Prepare and lead Project Gate Meetings
- Monitor adherence to quality and regulatory requirements by all project work streams
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field. Project management or agile certification is an advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally within a medically regulated or high-tech manufacturing environment and of medical device development processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical strength and the ability to quickly understand and present interrelationships and dependencies
- Hands-on mentality as well as strong result and solution orientation
- Fluent in English;
German/Chinese language skills are an advantage - Regular international travelling of up to 20% of working time required
