Infrastructure Engineer - Advanced

Our client, a leading organization in enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the LEANQG - SOFTWARE-DEFINED NETWORK team supporting critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer – Open Shift, Ceph, Bare Metal

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

What's the Job?

• Design, deploy, and optimize Red Hat Open Shift clusters on bare metal hardware
• Integrate and upgrade Ceph storage solutions, including block, object, and file storage
• Develop and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, focusing on CNI (Cilium) and Open Shift Operators
• Automate installation processes and performance testing using Helm charts and CI/CD workflows
• Manage and optimize storage via CSI provisioners and integrate storage classes with Open Shift and Open Stack environments

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Open Shift, bare metal, and Ceph storage
• Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes/Open Shift, CNI (Cilium), Helm, and CSI drivers
• Strong knowledge of Ceph storage provisioning, troubleshooting, and integration with cloud‑native platforms
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, Kube Virt, and Open Stack migrations
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and YAML for automation and workflow management
