Overview
Manufacturing Performance Analytics Engineer. Step into an on-site role where your work turns manufacturing data into decisions. You’ll be the architect and owner of a plant-wide performance dashboard, the person who turns raw numbers into clear, actionable insights—and then leads the projects that move those insights into reality. You’ll occasionally visit other sites (up to 10% travel) to support operational excellence initiatives and share best practices.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and roll out a comprehensive metrics dashboard spanning all manufacturing departments.
- Own dashboard upkeep by producing accurate monthly snapshots and ensuring data integrity.
- Evaluate current processes to boost efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness; implement improvements using corporate/enterprise systems.
- Analyze data sets, synthesize findings, and present clear recommendations to management.
- Charter and lead projects that address identified problem areas and deliver budgeted savings.
- Support Operational Excellence teams with on-site improvement projects.
- Partner closely with Operations, IT, and Accounting to capture user needs and refine requirements.
- Deliver training and ongoing user support to build adoption and sustain results.
- Apply Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and technical problem-solving tools across the operation.
- Document, share, and scale best practices across teams and locations.
- Champion a safe, healthy workplace by following all regulations.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
- Travel up to 10% to collaborate with additional sites.
- Four-year technical degree or Continuous Improvement practitioner training with relevant manufacturing experience (required).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills for partnering with manufacturing personnel.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, product properties, and quality standards.
- Excellent time management to balance multiple projects and daily process issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint; quick to learn new software. Flexible Packaging industry experience is a plus, not required.
