SummaryInstalls, maintains, and repairs slaughter machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Repairs slaughter equipment.
- Welds stainless steel equipment.
- Takes care of hydraulic unit, vacuum units, paw transfer piping and pits and equipment in offal.
- Monitors hydraulic fluid level.
- Set up, tear down, make adjustments and rebuild equipment as necessary.
- Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Equipment to include but not limited to, a forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack etc.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
