Production Associate I
Full Time Direct Catoosa, OK, US
POSITION PURPOSEThe primary responsibilities of the Production Associate will be cleaning and prepping of radiators, oil coolers, and associated parts, assembling and/or building units. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with the ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperate in a team environment. Assists supervisor in identifying maintenance requirements. Performs all work activities in accordance with Health and Safety Program and Quality System.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to use air tools, impact, grinder, etc.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, hammer, wrenches, etc.
- Successfully complete training per requirements of company training program.
- Assist other employees in setup and operation functions as needed.
- Identify improvements of methods that will increase quality and profitability.
- Identify maintenance issues as they arise.
- Provide information as requested to other departments to facilitate the completion of work projects.
- Understand and comply with all facets of the Health and Safety Program.
- Understand and comply with all facets of the Attendance and PTO policies.
- Read, understand, and follow routings and work instructions.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Exhibits good problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits adequate verbal communication skills.
- Exhibits adequate employee relation skills.
- Requires the ability to set, adjust and secure tooling using various hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Self‑motivated, reliable and can work without much supervision.
- Exhibits good interpersonal skills, team building and leadership characteristics.
- Be able to deal with change and respond quickly to a fast‑paced environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Prior basic tool operation experience preferred, but not required.
- Should have basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to bend, lift, stand repetitively throughout the day.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work with hands‑on tedious operations.
