PayThe hourly pay rate range for this position is $19.00/hr + $1/hr shift differential + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
What your day in this role might involveThe Glue Technician is responsible for ensuring the glue machine operates properly within an automated manufacturing process. This position supports product quality and production efficiency by maintaining correct adhesive application, equipment setup, and housekeeping standards.
What makes a successful OC Dickson team member- High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
- Experience with working safely and following all plant rules
- Show initiative, be a self‑starter
- Communicate in English clearly and effectively
- Ability to multi‑task
- Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
- Read a tape measure and do basic math
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with thinking under pressure and making quick strategic decisions
- Show initiative, be a self‑starter, and be able to train and coach others
- Operate a computer and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Stand for 8-10 hours straight
- Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed
- Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 40 pounds)
- Withstand exposure to temperature extremes, sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
- Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
