Position Summary
This permanent full‑time TIG Welder role is located in Blackwell, Oklahoma (74631). The shop specializes in metal fabrication of large freezer ducts for commercial and warehouse buildings.
Shift and ScheduleFirst shift, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. One‑hour lunch from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
CompensationStarting wages $15 – $16 per hour, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for pay increases over time.
Responsibilities- Weld thin stainless steel material to specified tolerances, following company guidelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and take accurate measurements.
- Use grinders, drills, and plasma tables as required.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Produce a quality product within the established time frame.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 12 months of welding experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and follow direction with minimal supervision.
- Experience with grinders, drills, and plasma tables.
- Ability to provide and maintain own tools after hire.
