Overview
This position is located in Ponca City, OK. It is a 1st shift Temp-to-Hire position from 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with one hour lunch from 11 a.m. to Noon. Starting wages are $15-16 per hour depending on experience. Pay increases over time.
Requirements- Must be able to provide own tools after being hired.
- At least 12 months welding experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and follow direction with minimum supervision.
- Experience with grinders, drills, and plasma tables required.
This is a metal fabrication shop that makes large freezer ducts for warehouse and commercial buildings. The TIG welder position requires welding thin material of stainless steel within acceptable tolerances according to company guidelines. Employees must maintain a clean work environment, follow safety guidelines, and produce a quality product in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
