Header Welder / Fitter

Fabrication Shop in Catoosa is seeking Header Welders. We are looking for a skilled ACHE Header Welder / Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Candidates must be self‑motivated and committed to producing high‑quality work.

• Interpret and follow weld procedures and blueprints accurately, including weld sizes and dimensions.
• Perform quality welds on air‑cooled heat exchanger headers, including corner joints.
• Fit and weld components such as plug boxes and cover plates to precise standards.
• Operate overhead and jib cranes; must have basic rigging knowledge.
• Work collaboratively with Quality Control to ensure compliance with ASME standards and fabrication drawings.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
• Be adaptable in welding styles and willing to assist with tasks such as fitting nozzles or wrapper plates when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, wearing required PPE at all times.

• Lift up to 50 lbs safely and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Exposure to high noise, dust, fumes, or particles as part of the job.

Pay: DOE $23‑32/hr

Schedule:

Day and Night shift available.
