Job Summary
Day Shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
Positions: CNC Maintenance Technician Trainee, CNC Maintenance Technician I, CNC Maintenance Technician II.
Pay:
Trainee: $18.76/hr–$23.00/hr technician I: $23.10/hr–$27.00/hr technician II: $25.66/hr–$30.00/hr.

- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC controlled lathes, machining centers, presses, welding robots, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system problems.
- Listen, observe, and operate machines; analyze performance and diagnose problems.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment using hand and power tools.
- Identify and repair or replace components.
- Climb on, crawl under, and inside machines; work at heights, in tight quarters, and in awkward positions.
- Use diagnostic equipment including multi‑meters, oscilloscopes, chart recorders, precision measuring devices, and other test instruments.
- Diagnose and repair CNC and PC‑based computer control systems and closed loop servo systems.
- Read information from electrical schematics, technical manuals, and written instructions.
- Service and maintain air conditioners and refrigeration units on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including lubrication.
- Use computers (SAP) to locate parts and process work notifications.
- Perform geometric alignments on machine tools (Technician II only).
- Lead or work with small groups to complete tasks (Technician II).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Meet safety, productivity, attendance, and quality expectations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Reading, clerical, and computer skills; knowledge of SAP a plus.
- For Trainee: formal electrical, electronic, and mechanical training or experience preferred.
- For TechnicianI: 3 years experience in an industrial environment; formal training preferred; self‑motivated with little supervision.
- For Technician II: 5 years experience in an industrial environment; formal training required; perform geometric alignments; lead small groups.
Manufacturing plant conditions (indoors, variable temperature and humidity, noise, dirt). Physical hazards such as powered vehicles, bicycles, pedestrian traffic, machinery, live electrical circuits up to 480 volts, sharp objects, moving machinery. Hazards include solvents, oils, grease, coolant. Shift may be up to 12 hours; overtime and travel may be required.
