Location: Fort Gibson

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our warehouse and production plant. The role focuses on maintaining hygiene, safety, and compliance across all areas of the facility.

Essential Job Functions
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
  • Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by company, customer, and/or governing bodies (FDA, SQF, etc).
  • Prepare production equipment for cleaning and follow necessary lock out/tag out procedures when doing so.
  • Use equipment cleaning chemicals and follow chemical usage and safety as indicated by the labels for application.
  • Sanitize, foam, scrub and rinse production equipment ensuring that all areas meet Food Safety and Food Quality standards including but not limited to:
  • CIP and sanitize, foam, scrub, and rinse production equipment such as containers rinsers, warmers, and pasteurizers.
  • Clean and sanitize all conveyors, conveying equipment, drip pans, and rails.
  • Clean and sanitize floors and drains.
  • Clean ceilings and walls in production areas to include cobwebbing, flaking paint, and any other debris removal.

  • Maintain elevators, floors, and stairwells in a clean and safe condition.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping using manual or electric tools.
  • Clean and sanitize auxiliary areas such as the Reverse Osmosis area.
  • Clean facility building, grounds, and parking lots as assigned.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners.
  • General cleaning of office area.
  • Verify and validate sanitation effectiveness with visual inspection and chemical concentration testing.
  • Confirm proper sanitation by monitoring printouts of CIP systems or manual documentation.
  • Store all chemicals and safety equipment properly.
  • Ensure that minimum downtime is experienced during sanitation and pre‑operational inspections.
  • Maintain accurate sanitation documentation and ensure the proper completion of Master Sanitation Schedule daily.
Required Skills
  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Ability to read and understand chemical technical data sheets.
  • Ability to perform tasks in accordance with safety protocols to prevent accidents and contamination.
  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning machines (e.g., pressure washers, floor scrubbers).
  • Ability to identify potential sanitation issues before they become problems.
Competencies
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, SQF, FDA regulations if applicable).

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience as a sanitation/janitorial worker in a warehouse environment using mobile cleaning equipment; operating mobile cleaning equipment and industrial baler preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Work schedule:

    Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings and overnight may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
  • Work environment:
    Operating in a fast‑paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can be very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised.
