Location: Pryor
Mechanical Assembler
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble metal components, subassemblies, and finished products in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use hand and power tools to build high-quality assemblies that meet production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and sample assemblies to determine assembly requirements
- Gather required parts, tools, and materials for each job
- Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and complete units
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to bolt, press, drill, weld, and fasten components
- Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools and test equipment
- Ensure assemblies meet required specifications and quality standards
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms as needed
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be fluent in English

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the shift
- Frequent use of hands for gripping, handling, and tool operation
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally more with assistance
- Exposure to industrial manufacturing environment including noise, machinery, and physical labor
- Must be able to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision for inspection work
- Ability to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
