Position Details
  • Shift: 2nd Shift 4:00p— End of Production
  • Pay: $14.50 per hour
  • $2.72 per hour weekly attendance incentive
  • $1 per hour night shift premium
  • Benefits: 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance & more
  • 6 Paid Holidays/year (after 90 days)
  • Paid Vacation (after 90, 180, and 270 days)
  • 2 Personal Days/year (after 90 days)
Position Summary

Performs various, unskilled production labor duties at any/all Foods locations as assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and/or tear down workstations on the production line.
  • Arrange, sort and grade materials on the belt.
  • Make, pack, weigh and label boxes while maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.
  • Stand and reach with hands and/or arms repeatedly.
  • Lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work at assigned or equivalent workstations as needed.
  • Fill in for other production employees due to absences, vacations, etc.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

No skills needed.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally requires climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment

Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level is usually loud.
