ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings to machine parts.
• Sets-up and operates conventional and CNC machines.
• Reworks molds and tools damage.
• Completes related paperwork.
• Maintains clean work area and keeps machines clean
• Shows ability and desire to learn.
• Works as a team.
• Keeps a good work attitude
• Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visualizes and understands blueprints
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Exercises good judgement
• Ability to work towards the success of the team

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Entry-level though 1 year experience in operating CNC, manual mills and lathe machines preferred
• Basic mathematical skills, additional skills in geometry and trigonometry preferred
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to follow detailed and complex instructions
• Basic computer skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, standing, kneeling, walking and twisting
• Use of vibrating tools
• Hearing and speaking clearly
• Repetitive motion of finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder or neck movement
• Precise dexterity
• Reading
• Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
• Lifting from floor to waist
• Reaching from shoulder level or below
• Seeing to distinguish colors, prepare/analyze figures, prepare/review documents, to visually inspect and to measure/assemble at a close distance
• Frequent use of power tools and machinery

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Exposure to smoke/dust/wet and damp
• High noise level
