Journeyman Machine Upkeep
Anchored at Anchor Glass Container LLC, the Journeyman Machine Upkeep is responsible for maintaining and repairing glass forming machine units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspect, change, adjust and maintain various units of glass forming machines and related equipment to maintain acceptable production levels.
- Check, weigh, and gauge ware; make necessary adjustments to correct defects.
- Make minor repairs to forming machines and equipment.
- Instruct and assist Machine Operators.
- Assist with job changes and check availability of spare equipment.
- Remove jams on conveyors or stackers as necessary.
- Make necessary adjustments to feeders, conveyors, stackers, and other equipment.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as required.
