Role Description

Diamond R Industries is seeking a full-time Safety Coordinator for an on-site position based in Pawnee, OK. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing workplace safety policies and protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include conducting regular safety audits, developing and leading safety training sessions, investigating workplace incidents, reporting, and collaborating with teams to promote a culture of health and safety within the organization.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and the ability to assess and mitigate workplace risks effectively.
  • Experience conducting Safety Training and promoting employee awareness and compliance with safety policies.
  • Skill in Accident Investigation to determine causes, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventive measures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations and certifications, such as OSHA standards.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous.
  • Degree or certification in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred.
