Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Emergency Dept - Full Time Nights

Shift: Week 1:
Wednesday 7a-7p, Friday 7a-7p, Saturday 7a-7p;
Week 2:
Sunday 7a-7p, Wednesday 7p-7a, Friday 11a-11p

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform duties in alignment with mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure:
  Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications:
  
  Completes hospital and required nursing competencies, mandatory in-services/My Education assignments, and relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) within the required time frame.
