Position Summary
Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY is hiring a full‑time Occupational Health RN to join our Employee Wellness team. This weekday‑only role is ideal for RNs who want consistent hours, a collaborative environment, and the chance to support the health and safety of fellow caregivers. You’ll be a trusted resource for immunizations, injury triage, and regulatory compliance while building a culture of wellness across the hospital.
Your
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, Day Shift
- No nights, no weekends, no holidays
- Location:
Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY
- Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Triage employee injuries and illnesses
- Manage communicable disease cases
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide clinical and clerical support for workplace wellness initiatives
- Up to $25,000 sign‑on bonus

- Registered nurse licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and the NYS Board of Nursing
- Drug Screening Training Certificate (mandatory within 1 year)
- CAQHC Hearing Conservation Technician Training and Fit Test Training (mandatory within 1 year)
- BSN preferred
- Additional certification in Occupational Health and Tobacco Cessation Counseling preferred
- 2–3 years of clinical experience in a setting requiring independent judgment in assessing patient conditions and determining action
- Desirable abilities: solving complex problems, developing and implementing comprehensive health programs, managing extensive information, and managing an independent departmental function
- Interact and communicate with a wide cross‑section of individuals in a courteous and tactful manner
- Maintain high ethical standards with respect to discretion and confidential information
- May work majority of hours standing; hours other than normal scheduled may be required
- Produce error‑free work on time, meeting internal quality management requirements
- Commit to ethical and legal principles; conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the organization
At the end of orientation, must have completed the following competencies:
