Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Assignment at Talented Medical Solutions
.
Days, 40 hours guaranteed.
Responsibilities- Assumes assigned patient load of selected patients and is responsible for patients from admission to discharge.
- Recognizes patients' conditions for changes and documents this information.
- Collaborates with the RN to carry out nursing care.
- Participates in updating care plans.
- Performs a wide range of treatment procedures, including heat and cold therapy; extensive sterile dressing changes; starting, maintaining and monitoring IVs; inserting catheters and NG tubes; administering enemas; caring for isolation patients; preparing and administering medications, including IV medications; and setting up for and giving treatments such as oxygen, suction, and respiratory therapy.
