RN Supervisor Weekends

The RN Supervisor Weekends will be responsible for supervising charge nurses and other caregivers, ensuring that clinical systems and programs are functioning as intended, and overseeing the care of the facility’s residents. You will play a key role in creating a positive resident experience by providing quality compassionate healthcare. RN Responsibilities
  • Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
  • Observe patients, chart, and report changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Answer patient calls and determine how to assist them.
  • Provide basic patient care or treatments.
  • Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
  • Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Identify and secure equipment supplies.
  • Direct and oversee subordinates.
  • Participate in duty assignments.
  • Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
  • Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action for discipline or training.
  • Monitor infection control compliance.
  • Investigate and document accidents/incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
RN Requirements
  • Current, valid licensure as an RN in the state of practice.
  • Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
