Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the acute care adult inpatient med‑surg floor within a 100+ bed hospital rooted in community‑focused care.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to maintain optimal coverage and staffing efficiency.
- Steward budget and financial resources for the unit.
- Lead clinical quality initiatives, including HAPI, CLABSI and CAUTI reduction.
- Direct patient flow, accreditation readiness and service recovery efforts.
- Develop staff through education, coaching and performance management.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing/CNO, assistant manager, clinical nurse educator and charge RNs to support a friendly nursing culture and a diverse, interdisciplinary workforce.
