Within Nursing Administration, the Chief Nursing Officer will provide executive oversight for a critical access hospital dedicated to community-focused care

This influential nursing executive will advance professional practice, clinical education, shared decision-making, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, staffing effectiveness, and patient experience across hospital departments. The close-knit care environment allows the Chief Nursing Officer to remain connected to frontline teams while developing responsive strategies that meet the evolving needs of patients and the surrounding rural communities.

Reporting to the hospital’s senior executive leader, the Chief Nursing Officer will receive support from an engaged leadership team and collaborate closely with physicians, department directors, clinical managers, and operational partners. Responsibilities include nursing strategy, workforce planning, budget oversight, policy development, performance improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, compliance, and staff engagement.
