Director of Nursing; DON

North County Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team!

The right leader will be a dynamic, hands-on leader with strong clinical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and a dedication to quality resident care. Also be able to ensure compliance with Long Term Care regulations and promote a respectful, team-oriented environment

Job Type: Fulltime

Salary: $100,000-$125,000

• Coordinate and oversee resident care with a proactive, "hands-on" management style.
• Develop, review, and revise nursing and clinical policies in accordance with current standards.
• Manage nursing staff schedules and adapt as needed during staff shortages or emergencies.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and handle disciplinary matters to maintain high care standards.
• Make sound, independent decisions as necessary, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Ensures compliance with Long Term Care regulations

• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities
• In-depth knowledge of Long Term Care regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Long term care a plus
