Jenks Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment–balancing exam room care, client communication, hands‑on procedural support, and team leadership. As our Lead RVT, you will help oversee daily workflow management, coordinate team scheduling, support inventory management, provide mentorship and training to clinical staff, and ensure hospital safety protocols and medical standards are consistently followed.

We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, leadership, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows while partnering with hospital leadership to maintain efficient operations, foster a collaborative team environment, and ensure exceptional patient care from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
  • Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately

  • Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.
