Parts Detailer Aerospace Technology
Location:
Beggs, OK
Pay: $25-$35/HR DOE

-5 PM, Overtime may vary, Monday through Friday
Requirements:
- Minimum [2] years of experience inspecting PT6 or similar small turbine engine components in a Part 145/CMM overhaul environment is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of P&WC PT6 Engine Manuals, CMMs, and Illustrated Parts Catalogs
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering specifications
- Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 / EASA Part 145 regulatory requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred; NDT Level II (PT/MT) a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/aviation maintenance training preferred
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment when making airworthiness decisions
- Ability to pass FAA-mandated pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible to access export-controlled technical data (ITAR)
Qualifications:
- Perform detailed and dimensional inspections of PT6 engine parts (compressor, turbine, gearbox, accessory, and case components) per P&WC CMM/Engine Manual criteria
- Conduct borescope, fluorescent penetrant (FPI), and magnetic particle (MPI) inspection review, coordinating with NDT as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T callouts
- Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM equipment) to verify part dimensions against limits
- Document findings accurately in work orders, inspection reports, and the shop's quality management system
- Determine part disposition (serviceable, repairable, or scrap) and route accordingly
- Identify and process life-limited parts (LLPs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs) as applicable
- Complete and review FAA Form 8130-3 / EASA Form 1 documentation for airworthiness release
- Maintain traceability and compliance with FAA 14 CFR Part 145, EASA Part 145, and company Repair Station Manual (RSM)/Quality Control Manual (QCM) procedures
- Support root cause and corrective action investigations for discrepant findings
- Maintain a clean, organized, FOD-free inspection area
