Quality Assurance Specialist

A well-established manufacturing company in West Tulsa is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join its day-shift team. This is a great opportunity for someone with quality, inspection, or manufacturing experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable working with production documentation, specifications, and inspection equipment. This position will work closely with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products for quality and specification compliance
  • Review drawings, work instructions, customer requirements, inspection reports, and production documentation
  • Work closely with Engineering on custom/Engineer-to-Order products to help ensure customer requirements are met
  • Assist with customer and third-party inspections, audits, and quality reviews
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials or processes
  • Assist with investigations, containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, calibration logs, and other quality documentation
  • Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with established procedures and quality standards
  • Communicate quality concerns with production, engineering, and other departments
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing defects, scrap, and rework

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate degree is a plus
  • 0–2+ years of manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or related industrial experience
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, work instructions, and product requirements
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ERP/MES systems, CAPA, 5 Whys, root cause analysis, or other quality systems/tools is a plus
  • Must be comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed
