About the Role
All Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, but you may also be assigned sales, front end or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, you will be referred to as a Merchandiser and report to the store management team.
Responsibilities- Process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage.
- Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing them about products and services.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- Load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws (if delivery is an essential job function).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience, or 1+ year of experience in a retail setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
$14.05 – $19.66 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
