Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner.
Essential Functions- Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers and clients. Acknowledges and greets guests immediately, using appropriate last names.
- Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure. Uses proper phone etiquette and welcomes guests to the location.
- Assists guests with directions and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions.
- Determines guest charges and processes payments via cash, credit or direct billing; accurately categorizes tickets for audit purposes; collects and reconciles revenue and furnishes receipts.
- Completes accurate and timely shift reports; follows all standard operating procedures related to cash banks; operates registers, gates and credit card machines; obtains information about daily events and rates.
- Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier/Account Manager.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide with money; understand 24‑hour and military time; understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Proficiency in reading and writing standard English; ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing for extended periods; physical ability to sit or stand, walk, run, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform typical clerical tasks.

Compensation: $8–$15 per hour, based on skills, experience, education and location.
Work Schedule:
7‑am–3‑pm, 3‑pm–11‑pm, or 11‑pm–7‑am shifts depending on availability.
Work is performed largely outdoors for the full shift; exposure to temperature extremes; requires walking, standing, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
