Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked. They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout day.

As a Walmart America's leading grocery store, you will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables our customers eat.

• Work in our deli and be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.
• In our bakery—help customers celebrate special moments.
• Work in our dry grocery department and ensure customers find the items they are looking for.

Regardless of fresh food or grocery area, you will: clean shelves and departments, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food products.

• Help customers find products
• Ensure high-quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready
