JOB PURPOSE

The
Strategic Account Executive isresponsibleforgrowingbusinesslevelsandsellingtotargetedcommercialorganizationswithintheirlocalgeographyandthroughoutthe

US.Responsibilitiesincludedevelopingasalesplan,formulatingsalescallstrategy,andexecutingrelevantactivitiestodrivenetnewrevenuegrowth.

TheSAEisaccountableforeffectivelycommunicating Transportation Insight 'svalueproposition,enterprise solutions,andenterpriselogisticsservicestoprospectsandcurrentcustomers.

Utilizing Transportation Insight 'sportfolioofserviceofferings/capabilitiestosolvecomplexparcel,LTL,and Truckloadbusinesschallenges,theStrategic Account Executiveisexpectedtointroducespecificserviceimprovementsandopportunitiesforoptimization .TheSAEisalsoresponsibleforprovidingapositivecustomerexperienceforenterprise-sizeorganizations.

  • Developaplanfocusingonsolutionsales,salescallstrategyandqualifiedlistofprospects,givingtargetedfocusto

  • Communicate Transportation Insight ’svalueproposition,services,andsolutionstrategiestoprospectsinordertoposition

  • Understandhowtonavigatecomplexbuyingcommittees-developandmaintainprofessionalrelationshipswitheconomicbuyersandkeyexecutiveswithinsizabletargetaccountstocreatevalueandenableyoursellingefforts.
  • Establishandmaintaincontactandeffectivecommunicationatalllevelsofstrategicaccountsandleverageinternalresourcestoensureapositivecustomerexperience.
  • Partnerwithinternalexecutivemanagement,operations,developmentandsalesmanagementteamstoestablishandimplementbestpractices.
  • Leveragehis/hernetworkforreferralsandformerpartnerstosupportgrowthefforts.
  • Managecomplexrelationshipswithstrategicstrategyandexecution.
  • Accuratelyforecastopportunitiesandbookings,specificproductrevenue,andnewopportunitiesonaweekly,monthlyandquarterlybasiswithin

    Salesforce.
  • Driveforresultsandsuccessbyconveyingtheappropriatesenseofurgencywhiledrivingissuestoclosure.
  • Championclientprogramsanddriveinitiativeswithafocusoncontinuousimprovement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionallytoremoveroadblocks,trackandresolveclientobjections,andsolveproblemsvia

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • BS/BAdegreerequired.
  • Highlevelofdetailsellingcomplexsolutionbasedprograms.
  • Transportation Industry Experience2 -3yearsminimum
  • Minimumof5years

    Outsidesalesexperience(Hunter)
  • Knowledgeandexperiencewithtransportationmanagementsystems/technology preferred.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,ABILITIESANDCHARACTERISTICS
  • Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,includingboardroomcaliberpresentationskills.
  • Provenabilitytocollaboratewithothersatalllevelswithinthepotentialclient.
  • Aptitudeforunderstandinghowtechnologysolutionssolvecustomerbusinessissues.
  • Astuteunderstandingofhowtoconveyinformationclearlyandprovidetransportation/financialanalysistohelpexpeditecustomerpurchasedecisions.
