Academy Busis seeking a full-time
Bus Mechanic Level A/B for our Winter Garden, FL location. $2500 sign on bonus. Every Friday is pay day!
Earn $29.00-$34.00 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with candidate experience level.
- 2nd shift (12:00pm-8:00pm)
- Repair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of modern tour buses
- Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance
- Inspections and road tests
- Warranty and repair documentation
- Diagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components such as:brakes, suspension, tires,bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and linkages.
- Respond to road calls
- Basic welding/fabrication
- Class B Mechanics will assist
ALevel
Mechanics with skilled workand train/supervise C Level Mechanics - Class A Mechanics will train and supervise Mechanics and Cleaners.
- (A) 7+ years of diesel engine maintenance
- (A) Proficient in the use of diagnostic devices such as: DDEC readers, ATEC readers, Smar Tire, schematics, AIC (Freon) recovery and charging equipment
- Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment,and testing instruments
- Must have own tools according to level
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- CDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus but not required, willingness to obtain a CDL License is also desirable.
