We are currently seeking a Light Duty Mechanic:
Pressure Pumping, Union City, OK.

Performs physical tasks in the shop in support of operations including, but not limited to: inspection, repair, and maintenance of light-duty vehicles (pickups, crew vans, and similar fleet vehicles), troubleshooting, interpretation of vehicle manuals, and training/mentoring. May be dispatched to the field as needed to address vehicle issues.

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of light-duty fleet vehicles; reviews vehicle status with operational personnel and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs on pickups, crew vans, and similar vehicles.
• Inspects, repairs, maintains, and makes recommendations and performs modifications to functional parts of a variety of equipment and machinery. Diagnoses maintenance requirements on gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, differentials, electrical circuits, AC power plant, hydraulic systems, and chassis through diagnostic aids, inspections, and interpretation of equipment reports with assistance. Disassembles, overhauls, and replaces worn parts on equipment as required.
• Trouble shoots on conventional and specialized equipment and control with assistance
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• May perform gas and arc welding as required in routine maintenance.
• Assists in training and mentoring maintenance technician trainees; orients operators in maintenance procedures and field maintenance.

Education:

Less than High School Education

Work Experience:

0-2 years

• Mechanical skills should include, but are not limited to,scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pickups, crew vans, and similar vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history

Education:

High School Diploma/Equivalent

Work Experience:

2-4 years

• Relevant experience as maintenance technician in oil and gas industry
• Class A CDL
• Current HSE certifications
